[login to view URL] web site will be dedicated as a place for users to entering the chance of something happening (aka the odds). For example, there is a 1 in 1 chance of death. Each entry will allow a user to input a chance of something. The entries are categorized by location, sex and topic. For example, there may be a 50% chance that a baby will be a girl in the USA, but in India it might be 52%. Topics might include: ? - Medical ? - Sports ? ---? Football (American) ? ---? Football (soccer) ? - etc. Under each entry will be a forum dedicated to that entry. When a user enters a new entry, they will be required to enter the URL or magazine information to the source of the information. Once an entry has been added or edited by the user, it will not be automatically shown in the web site until it has been approved by the web master. The web master will not approve the entry until the source URL and/or magazine has been verified. Odds can be entered in multiple formats. For example, ? - 1 in 5 ? - 1:5 ? - 20% The web site will translate the odds to a percent and store into the database. This web site architecture requires you to use DotNetNuke as the web site container, C# for any application code, and Microsoft SQL server for the database. All of these are located on a GoDaddy co-hosting NT server. Usernames and passwords to the website will be given to the developer. User logins will use the DotNetNuke models. Should a dispute arise and this project go into arbitration "as is", the contract's vagueness might cause it to be interpreted against you, even though you were acting in good-faith.
