Build a customized Google map for basic Drupal webpage

Google Maps API project brief I need to create a custom map with selectable points of interest with a shaded district with Google Maps API v3 as the background and Drupal as the CMS. This project can be broken down into 2 parts. Part 1 - Basic background website template (I can provide hosting details and a few jpeg images to use as footnotes and title banners to the successful freelancer) and scroll down list of points of interest that I can add points of interest to later. If these points of interest can be clickable to make the map zoom onto the selected point of interest then that would be desirable so its more then just a list to the side as I have shown in the attached district example adobe illustrator file. Part 2 - Google Map with a single border around numerous suburbs and individual islands on the south side of a city - effectively to mark out a district (spreadsheet of suburbs and islands that make up this district will be provided). The map I attached in Adobe Illustrator format shows the 'district' I am trying to represent. I've created placemarkers for each type of point of interest that needs identifying within the bordered district area. For example: * Hospital * Community Health * Oral Health * Mental Health * Indigenous * BreastScreen QLD * Specialized Other These need to be grouped by the above types, with a function to have a circle marked around each one the facilities in that group. E.g. if you select community health on the legend as shown in the example illustrator file (outside of the map window above the scroll list of individual facilities) then it displays a circle around each of the community health point of interests. Refer to [login to view URL] for a basic example of this. It also needs to have functionality where: if you select an individual placemarker with the google map for a particular facility then a tool tip/text window should appear. I understand this is a standard feature of the maps anyway that I will fill in details for later. Step-by-step documentation is required in the form of screen shots with notes that show how to add and remove placemarkers within the grouped placemarkers selection.. And I also need to know how to add points of interest to the list on the side of the map as I have hundreds more to add which will be my task further down the track. To make things simple I can provide address details for one of each of the types of placemarkers that are going on the map eventually so theirs minimal data entry work (7 place markers) required from your end.
