We are looking for a developer to design and build a Java Panel (AWT JPanel) which shows the status for files being transferred to a server. We're looking to add some "Wow" to our application. A crude proposal is shown in the PDF attached. We will provide a Java interface and a test class of data. The JPanel will poll the object supplied periodically (1-10 seconds) to get: - a list of the next N files to be transferred - the amount transferred of the current file - the total number of files to be transferred - the total size to be transferred - the current transfer rate This GUI does not have to handle any graphical events. The environment is core Java + any public domain animation package. The actual colour scheme will be supplied later. Suggestions on improvements, alternatives are welcome. If you can provide screenshots of previous projects that would be helpful.
