WP E-commerce Product Page & Gallery

I'm developing a WP Ecommerce site and have a custom product page that I need assistance with. The product page needs to be responsive, meaning there is no pixels widths and we have 3 different style styles that are managed through media queries. The product page has 5 product images; 1 is a large main product image then floated to the right of that image are 4 thumbnails which are clickable and will need to replace the main image or can pop a lightbox version of the image. I also need to write a function that check to see if the current page is a product category page, if it is then display a featured category image otherwise hide the featured image area.
