Fix login page

This is a laravel project that I am using for a email marketing business that I am involved in. Right now the login page is showing a white screen if the credentials are wrong. I would like it to redirect to the login form (if the credentials and not correct) and display a message that the email and password were not correct. The error message displayed should look the same as if I try and submit the form without typing anything. Make sure that users with correct info can still login. So what I want - clone github repo that I will provide -setup locally -connect to database ([login to view URL]) - create user that works (run php artisan UserMake) -create feature branch -fix bug -commit back to repo.
