UNIX Shell Scripting Homeworks

There are two UNIX shell programming assignments that need to be completed. They should be fairly simple to a UNIX power user. These scripts must be written for the Bourne shell and be compatible across all versions of UNIX (particuarly Solaris). The winner of this bid will get the untampered form of the assignment (very little difference). The assignments will also need to completed with the lectures in mind. For example, if the lecture talks about awk, then the assignment should use awk, etc... I will provide all the lecture notes to the winner bidder. Please e-mail me if you have any other questions. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Bourne Shell, should be compatible with any platform of UNIX (particuarly Sun Solaris). ## Deadline information Assignments should be completed as quickly as possible, no later than 12/11/2002. Winner bidders should complete Assignment 6 first, because it takes priority over Assignment 3. Status updates of these assignments are preferred.
