Portfolio Analysis

Microsoft Excel (VBA) Portfolio Analysis We are a small investment group within a large Canadian brokerage company.? ? We provide all existing and prospective clients with a complete portfolio analysis for every meeting we have with them. There are no tools that exist that allow us to combine stocks, bonds, mutual funds and/or specialty investments and show a households' total exposure to various asset classes and other detailed portfolio information. I have developed a system using excel as my database and crystal reports to be able to deliver comprehensive reporting beyond what most clients receive from their brokers.? I now have to take it to the next level and make the system usable by our assistants, protect the data from possible misuse, and improve the user interface that I have designed using Microsoft VBA. ## Deliverables This project will likely grow from the initial stages.? Currently, it suits the group that I work in, but we may market it to several hundred similar groups in the future.? If we do, there will be future enhancements required.? ? This project will also require some upfront explanation as to how it has been developed and is used.? I am not a programmer, but a fairly knowledgeable end user, as such the VBA code will appear quite clunky to? an experienced programmer.? ? What is of utmost importance is that the user experience be exactly as I dictate, it will make or break the project.
