Payment Processing System - Preliminary study

Dear programmers, We are interested in developing an in-house payment processing system similar to Ogone or Paypal. However, this system would not be proposed to clients for their payments (as we are no bankers), but would be used only for our own transactions (incoming and outgoing online payments). This would ensure our complete independence towards the commercial payment processors. The project should begin with a preliminary study of the feasibility and conditions for the implementation of such system. For this, you should explore the existing operators (Ogone, [login to view URL], Paypal, Moneybookers...), create dummy accounts with them, study and duplicate their functions, mirror their sites... The preliminary study should allow design a precise project. It is imperative that respondants know our organization and take a prior view of our site before submitting. Submissions not showing sufficient knowledge of our organization will not be taken into account. Some knowledge of the banking industry would be a plus.
