Hi, The scraping part of the project seems fairly straightforward. There is quite a bit of work involved trying to standardize the list of cars that can be searched for. There's also quite a lot of scraping coding involved (there's 6 sites to be scraped). How do you want results displayed to the user? Do you just want to grab the entire page(s) and show them within your own site, or actually scrape the data and parse that yourself, displaying that on your site? The difficult part is (potentially, at least) integrating this with your existing site. It all depends on how clean the original site coding is. It could be straight forward, or quite messy. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. John :) By the way - adding additional sites to be scraped is not going to as easy as specifying a url to a new site - there would have to be a whole host of scraping code to be written for that site. The code is scalable, but has to be written nonetheless.
