I have been researching for a long time how to obtain the position of an Icon located in the System Tray. After all this I have been able to recompile from many sources and making some coding myself a VB Code that will find the exact position (x, y) of an Icon in the Systray. This code it's working perfect, under Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP, but under Windows NT 4.0 this code doesn't work, and the exact position of the Icon it's not found.
What I need it's this code also to work under NT4. I have Created a VB6 Project with the Source Code for you to test and try make it work in Windows NT 4.0.
The Important Module it's [login to view URL]
You can Download the Source Code from: [login to view URL]
The Problem it's located in the EnumWinProc Function in the NT part near the
sTip = TrimChars(StrConv([login to view URL], vbFromUnicode))
Line.
I hope you can Help.
Thank you,
Pablo Barvo
