Progress 4GL / MYSQL (any ideas?)

We are trying to write records using Progress 9.1D (WINDOWS) to a MYSQL (Linux) server. Has been working fine, except when we changed a field from VARCHAR(255) to MEDIUM Text. Please provide a working example 4GL code that writes to a MYSQL Table that has MEDIUM text. Please provide all versions and downloads of MYSQL drivers you are using on the Windows Progress server.
