Expert PHP Programer Needed For A CMS Cleanup Project

I am looking for an experienced PHP programmer to clean up working PHP content management software for me. REQUIRED: SCRIPT CLEAN UP, MINOR UPDATES, PHP5 COMPLIANCE, Removal of unecessary functions and variables, trimming of script to make it leaner and faster. The program has been working flawlessly for the past 4 years. I need an expert to make it more efficient and more manageable. About the CMS program: ---------------------- The CMS program in question is a self-installing centralized administration program with various modules that can be installed and uninstalled automatically upon request. All functions commonly used on all the modules are housed in the main admin program functions library. All functions commonly used within a specific module are housed in a local functions library within that module. Each module has its own set of My_SQL data tables and they are independent of each other. The main Admin program keeps track of all Installed Modules, Module variables, Users, and which module a user has access to. The modules have the ability to work individually OR together seamlessly to create a larger website because they can request basic information from each other. I wrote the program myself, I need an EXPERT to clean it up, and I can assist you with any questions you may have about the program. It sounds complicated but it’s VERY easy project for anyone who knows what they are doing. **Here is what I need done:**** **------------------------------**** 1) I just upgraded to PHP5 and I am getting a lot of PHP notices in my server error log most of which is filling up the error log. here are some of them: PHP Notice: Undefined offset PHP Notice: Undefined variable: PHP Notice: Undefined index: PHP Notice: Undefined property: PHP Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated; I need someone who can go though the entire content management program and its modules and clean it up to ***PHP5*** standards. 2) I need a full clean up of unnecessary declaration of variables, unnecessary functions, and the removal of unnecessary codes, basically I wrote some functions that a simple PHP command like “array_merge?? can take care of. I would like the program to use known global constant such as : __FILE__, dirname(__FILE__), basename(__FILE__), basename(dirname(__FILE__)), and all other known PHP variables where necessary, I was in the process of learning PHP when I wrote the program and it is possible that many functions in there are redundant. 3) I need to limit unnecessary MySQL queries to the database. 4) Better and faster classes and functions to improve speed and performance. 5) I basically need to trim all the fat and make the program much more efficient with no errors on the error log, Feel free to add your 2 cents if you have a better idea. 6) I need a lean, mean, and ultra efficient CMS machine! Basically I want to able to load my CMS software on any server and have it work despite any security measures on that server (gps_magic_quotes, open_basedir restrictions, etc…) and I would really like to get it working perfectly so I don’t have futures problem anticipated in PHP6 **EXPERT PROGRAMMER REQUIRED:**** **--------------------------------------**** If you are an expert PHP Programmer this should be a walk in the park for you.
