I need someone to create a script that runs in PowerShell v2 to connect to an FTP site and do the following: - Check the date stamp of a file, compare it to a local file and only download if the FTP sites file is newer than the file that is currently stored locally - Create/or append a csv file on the FTP server, with the name of the computer, containing the date and time the file was downloaded. No 3rd party utilities are to be used. All work must be done within PowerShell v2. Additional details will be provided on acceptance of the role.

I can provide the FTP client implementation on power shell version 2. It will comply with all requirements and have a well documented code. Requirements: - Check the date stamp of a file, - compare it to a local file and only download if the FTP sites file is newer than the file that is currently stored locally - Create/or append a csv file on the FTP server, with the name of the computer, containing the date and time the file was downloaded. Inputs: - filename and path on FTP - localpath for searching the file.

Having more than 2 years of experience as PoweShell developer, created multiple scripts for server side and network side automations. Below are my implementation steps: 1. Read datetime stamp of file on FTP server 2. Compare with the file on local server. If FTP file date is greater than file on server, then download the file. 3. Append the details of file downloaded on the server to a CSV file on local server.
