Translation test development
$25-50 USD / hora
This is contract work on a translation test with a short deadline. The work will be developing a rubric for a translation test. The purpose of this test is to assess translators’ suitability for translating materials. We are looking for experts in the following languages:
•Burmese
•Urdu
•Vietnamese
•Korean
The work of the expert in the target language will be identifying various areas of difficulty when translating provided sentences about various topics. He/she will fill out the provided rubric. Training material will be provided as well.
We especially prefer translators who are ATA Accredited or of similar qualifications. It is also preferred that the expert be familiar with use of the target language in the US (either residing or having resided in the country).
