Hi J, I'd like to edit your script. Is it formatted correctly already? As you likely know, formatting will make a huge difference to word count - and is expected to be quite specific. I've only formatted one script - my expertise lies in editing. You essentially need it tightened by about 6 pages (4 in your other post ... ) It's an interesting premise - I just skimmed your website but I like what I saw. (you could use a proofreader for your site). I'm a university-educated native English speaker. Hi, This sounds really fascinating. A riff on "Ground Hog Day" that takes it to a much darker place--I like that. BTW, I really like your character playing cards, too. Did you did the art work. My approach would be to read the entire script straight through before doing anything to it. I would mark up the material on the second pass putting notes/suggestions in the margins or in Script Notes if you happen to use Final Draft. (I can also work in Movie Magic 6, Celtx, or Word). If you agree to the notes or offer alternatives, I would incorporate those changes in a final document. My profile has excerpts, for your review, from two of my own feature-length scripts as well as a novel which will give you an idea of the range of my voice. Additionally, I have read at least 100 produced scripts over the years, almost all of them award-winners, so I have developed a good sense of what works in a script. I base my own work and any for-hire work on two sources: John Truby’s “The Anatomy of Story” and Robert McKee’s “Story” so I know what to do when a script isn’t working.
