Hello One year ago I did a similar assignment, changed the default scheduling algorithm of the Minix OS. It was a research project and we also added a few new commands to bash ( to print scheduling queue etc.). Though I have never worked with Quest but I know it is open source and comes with documentation which is enough for me to do the job as I have done it earlier.
