Create a model that predicts the probability of late payment based on the available data and present your model’s performance and how you will explain why a loan is at high risk of late payment to an auditor. Take the example of a company that gives loans to farmers . The expectation is that we give them a loan that they can use to grow a crop . The farmer can return the money at the end of the season or sell the produce at the available market price as on the harvest date back to the company. The company’s lending history is available in data . Included is also the lending history of the company’s creditor with other lending institutions in the same region.
