add new disk to DiskGroup MSA 2050

I have experience on configuring various storage systems esp. HPE Storage. I can do the job. Do you want to do this on the 2050 via the CLI or SMU? Some more questions - What is the existing size of the pool to which you want to add this diskgroup? What is the type of disk that you are adding to create the new diskgroup - midline/enterprise SAS, capacity etc. What is the firmware version of the disks. May need to check if the disk firmware is compatible with the MSA firmware version. Do you have multiple enclosures attached to the controllers via the expansion SAS port? Are you adding the disks to any of the enclosures. The volume that you want to expand, is it already attached to a host and serving I/O?
