I have a 53 foot formerly refrigerated, insulated shipping container. It’s currently on a trailer platform for an 18 wheeler truck. How do I remove it from the wheels so that I can put it on the ground flat, and not hurt anything in its structure? I’d also like to know how do I cut two openings on the same long side of the container without jeopardizing structural rigidity? I need it safe enough for my staff to move through. ideally the openings would be between 8 to 10 feet wide. The only weight bearing I need would be that of the weight of the snow. The shipping container will be outside used as a temporary structure to connect two buildings together.
