software use questionaire

The description is NEW - I modify the description I have a group of student working at home. They are using MS word as a tool to do their work. I need some feedback from them about the use of MS word. My goal is to substitute MS word with another text tool depending on feeback. I need some sort of questionnaire/survey that I will email to them - they will reply and send back to me via email. The questionnaire will not be so much on the software features but mostly on its use, ease, etc I need a series of questions for them answer about their use of the current tool. At least 25-30 questions or so should be enough, The results will help me decide what to do and if to improve Word to match their needs. This project is easy and should be quick example questions: 1. What benefits do you gain from using WORD(Specify what you like the most/least? 2. What is the ease of use (on a scale from 1 to 5) 3. Does the use of Word take more time (Scale of 1 to 5) 5. Ease of use (scale of 1 to 5) 6. Tools (Functionality you’d like to have or take away) 8. Training Issues that you feel should be part of the training materials 9.
