Minor modification of existing 3D model + modify materials (x-ray effect) + render still images —————— SUMMARY: 1. Minor modifications of a 3D model of human female pelvis anatomy, to demonstrate a surgical addition of mid-urethral sling (2 versions). - See attached PDF & reference image 1 2. Material & lighting modifications to match the “X-ray” look of existing 3D images. - See attached reference image 2 + 3 3. Render out 10 still images (various layers of model turned on & off) from 3 camera positions (30 images total) Models provided in LW, 3DSmax9, Maya 7, 3DS, Obj formats Completed job be supplied in 3DS (for Cinema 4d Mac R16) —————— DETAILS: Modify a 3D model for use in a video explaining a surgical procedure - the mid-urethral sling. Supply modified model plus rendered out stills of various layers 1. Modify 3D model —— A) Remove from model - Lower ribs from Skeleton - Adrenal glands from top of kidneys - Urogenital Bulb (purple) - Clitoris (red) B) Create 2 additional simple models: 1. Retropubic sling 2. Transobturator sling Each model is simply a strip of tape. The two end of the tape are in contact with the skin. The shape of the tape in relation to the pelvic bones is different for each model. See attached PDF for explanation & diagrams of the placement of each, and the attached reference image 1. C) Create an alternative version of the bladder: 1. Bladder (original) 2. Bladder with deformed urethra The alternative version simply has a deformed urethra which matches the placement of the sling. 2. Modify material & lighting —— a) Modify the materials to match the “X-ray” look of of existing 3D images. The body is a glowing blue outline with dark centre. The skeleton is the same “blue X-ray” look as the internal organs. The internal organs will be in 2 different materials “blue X-ray “ and “orange X-ray”. See attached reference image 2 + 3. Group anatomy as follows, so they can be turned on and off as needed: - Body outline - GLOWING BLUE OUTLINE - Skeleton — BLUE XRAY - Ovaries/uterus/vagina 1 — BLUE XRAY - Ovaries/uterus/vagina 2 — ORANGE XRAY - Kidneys/ureters/bladder/urethra normal version 1 — BLUE XRAY - Kidneys/ureters/bladder/urethra normal version 2 — ORANGE XRAY - Bladder/urethra deformed version 1 — BLUE XRAY - Bladder/urethra deformed version 2 — ORANGE XRAY - Retropubic sling - bright white material - Transobturator sling - bright white material 3. Render out 10 still images from 3 camera positions (30 images) —— 1. Front on 2. Side on 3. Three quarter view For all views: - Camera centred on Bladder - Probably easier to rotate model rather than move camera For each view render each group: 1- Body 2- Skeleton 3- Ovaries/uterus/vagina 1 — BLUE XRAY 4- Ovaries/uterus/vagina 2 — ORANGE XRAY 5- Kidneys/ureters/bladder/urethra normal version 1 — BLUE XRAY 6- Kidneys/ureters/bladder/urethra normal version 2 — ORANGE XRAY 7- Bladder/urethra deformed version 1 — BLUE XRAY 8- Bladder/urethra deformed version 2 — ORANGE XRAY 9- Retropubic sling 10- Transobturator sling Supply all stills as: - 4000x4000 or higher resolution - Straight alpha channel - PNG format
