I have 40 topics that I need someone to write
down information about in Japanese and English.
I need a "minimum" of 2.5 pages of info for each topic.
As stated, there are 40 topics but an example of ONE topic is: "food in Japanese"
I would need you to write about "food in Japanese." You would give the names of
Japanese food in English then translate them to Japanese and comment about them in English.
Here is an explanation of how you couple approach the topic "food in Japanese" to come up
with the 2 - 3 pages of information:
Give words and short phrases related to the topic "food in Japanese." Words related to
the topic might include the Japanese word for food, other Japanese words related to food, explanations of Japanese culture and how food is viewed, mention the cultural aspects of
food in Japan. Give some names of Japanese food and explain what these food are in English,
talk about restaurants in Japan, then translate the word "restaurant" into Japanese, give
the names of things found in a restaurant then translate those too. Write about
relevant things about food as it relates to Japan or the Japanese language.
That's the general idea. Write down relevant information in English and give the Japanese translation as described above for the key words and phrases. Explanations of Japanese
culture and insight into Japanese culture and ideas as it relates to the topic should be
written in English. When the Japanese words and short phrases related to the topic are
given then the English translations of those words and short phrases should be given
(translate the phrases word for word and tell what each word means). Do this and you
should have 2 - 3 pages easily.
Here is another example:
If the topic is: "paper in Japanese"
Write down ideas and comments about "paper in Japanese" as it relates to Japan,
Japanese tradition, Japanese culture, Japanese language and comment on it.
Then you should come up with as many examples as possible using the word "paper." Then
translate those examples into Japanese.
Remember that the examples you translate should be 3 - 4 word phrases related to the
keyword which is 'paper' in this example. You can and should also give vocabulary words
related to "paper" and translate those too. Vocabulary words can be just one word.
Examples:
Paper is cheap -translate this to Japanese
Paper is used for writing -translate this to Japanese
Children make toys from paper - translate this
Note: if Japanese children or adults or if people in Japan make toys or products
from paper then you should comment about it. Give examples of the toys they make
from paper.
Let's say they make paper airplanes, paper cars, paper bracelets then you should
give all the toys they make from paper then you would translate those toy names and
related words into Japanese (see below).
Comments about the topics that give insight into the culture and language are also
important. You should explain things fully. You could comment on the time of year
or the reason why they make paper toys in Japan. Maybe they do it on a holiday, or
because of a tradition. Perhaps they make paper products for tourists. Perhaps they
do it for business. You would comment on this in your own words using your knowledge
of the Japanese culture, traditions. Then translate the important words and phrases
related to the topic. If you can think of any other interesting things about paper
related to the culture, traditions, custom, language in Japan you
would write about them in a similar way.
airplane -translate this to Japanese
paper airplane -translate this to Japanese
cars - translate this to Japanese
paper cars- translate this to Japanese
toy - translate this to Japanese
bracelet - translate this
paper bracelet - translate this
You will be writing down short phrases and ideas in bullet points. That's it. You are
not writing a paper. You do not have to be an expert English writer but what you write
should be readable and understandable.
You should be fluent in the Japanese language and a native speaker of the Japanese
language.
