Update: I am looking for someone to re-create the osram sylvania website in access (searchable by year, make, and model), the methodology for this should be simple for any website scraper, the URL passes the following arguements to the aspx form: Year, Make, Model, which I will provide (see attachment, 160k records total) here is a sample of the url: [login to view URL] the output I want would be a database with the vehicle make and model table (attached) related to the parts data (found on the website) Year can be passed directly from the attached list, please capture make and model in a mapping table as well as the url for each record. additionally, I would be very interested if someone could make it so that I can update this database myself.

Hi I am an experienced software developer with a lot of experience in building web scrapers. Please disregard the bid price because it is something that Freelancer throws in before you can make a bid. Your specification though clear is obviously not the end of what you need. Your statement that you would like a utility that you could update yourself is what I am more interested in. I don't know how much you know about the nuts and bolts of the html that makes a web page but companies hate scrapers. As a consequence they will often change the underlying html so that scrapers just stop working. If you wanted to update yourself, you either need a very clever program that will cost in the 5-6 figure range or you need to learn a programming language. I'd like to get some feedback even if you go with someone else.
