This is a really easy job for someone who knows the web very well. We need someone who can find 10 stories every day and post them to our site, create an HTML email with the links to the articles (we have a template for it) and send it to us for broadcast. The sites are all technology magazines/web sites for Service Providers, Internet Service Providers, Hosting Service Providers, Application Service Providers etc., and the articles must be related to our industry. They can be from press releases from companies about their products and services, or from any other free news source, and there are many web sites where you can find these ([login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] , just to name a few, but we are really looking for someone who knows their way around the web and can go find this stuff themselves. This is a five-day a week job (Monday – Friday) that pays $10 per day, and is ongoing. If you are good at it, the job is yours for as long as you need it. How long it takes you to do it is up to you. We just want the articles and the email every day. It should not take more than two to three hours at the most. You will need to find the stories, edit the stuff out that is not necessary (some press releases have too much stuff at the end of them about the company etc., but we really don’t care, we’d rather have more than less content) It’s the appropriateness that matters. You will enter them into the script that runs the sites, and then edit the for HTML newsletter with the articles that you entered that day 9it’s just cut and paste!) and send us the HTML file. That’s it – it’s a pretty simple job and it’s a reliable one for someone who knows how to do this kind of stuff. You may also find articles anywhere on the web, but if you use information from another source, you must re-write it. We cannot carry anyone else’s copyrighted content and we are very strict about that. If we find that you are using copyrighted material, you will be immediately terminated. Please, let’s be realistic about this, you can only do this job if you have a good command of the English language and understand the parts that need to be edited etc. This is not a job for anyone who cannot demonstrate their English abilities very quickly. If you don’t have a really good grasp of English, please don’t apply, it’s a necessary skill for the job.
