Education web design project - content input tasks

We have an education website, the design & html is done and 5 units already added. It takes approx ½ a day to build each unit. We are looking for someone to build the next 5 units. This is a mainly a content & detail task. I suggest that a fair way to quote for this is to give me a cost for 2.5 days work, where we envisage you being able to complete approx 5 units. Also click on the “Cymraeg” (welsh) version: [login to view URL] Here is a brief summary of the tasks, per unit: • Convert the Word documents to pdf (typically 5) • Encode the video to Flash video (flv) • Create a relevant header graphic, and icons for units topics (approx 3) • Create still photos from video (6-7) to be used in a unit • Edit xml file to edit an already created Flash quiz update, and screenshot photos for this quiz. • Title, label everything on the web page. • Do all the above for the Welsh language version of the unit (click the cymraeg link). I don’t speak welsh, I expect you to make intelligent cut n’pasting, by reading the English doc and finding equivalent part in the welsh. A welsh language person will edit the final version. • Check everything, You will need skype to communicate, as I am sure there will be plenty of questions to ask, and things to check, and as such you will be expected to be available for at least 2 hours of a UK working day (9-5pm GMT). So your skill set should be: • English –high level • HTML ability to edit source level code, and apply css • Comfortable photo manipulation (resizing graphics to exact pixel size, screen capturing, and adjusting light, etc) • Comfortable batch creating pdf’s, and converting video to flv • Detail orientated Please be sure to PM me with links to recent content work, and why you are appropriate candidate for this.
